David Jolliffe, BComm, ASTC

Managing Principal

As Managing Principal, David Jolliffe is involved in every project. After joining Novita as a system designer in 1990, he became a Partner in 1997. David oversees staff work such as system design, ensures program requirements are met and that projects remain within budget, and coordinates information with other design team members.

Mr. Jolliffe’s expertise has been developed through working on hundreds of diverse projects, such as live performance theatres, amphitheatres, lecture halls and smart classrooms, conference and convention facilities, and boardrooms and meeting rooms.

He is a member of the American Society of Theatre Consultants and the Professional Audio Engineering Society. He has continued to add to his knowledge through courses offered by the Entertainment Services and Technology Association, the United States and Canadian Institutes of Theatre Technology, Syn-Aud-Con and InfoComm.

David has written for such publications as Professional AV and Professional Lighting and has reviewed ESTA industry whitepapers since 2005.

In his free time, he enjoys sailing, volleyball, skiing, and other sports, often with the involvement of his family.
 
David was educated at the University of Guelph.
