Milton Centre for the Arts

The Town of Milton's new Centre for the Arts includes a library, visual arts studios, an art gallery, a multipurpose room, and a 500-seat theatre. Novita is designing the AV systems for the visual arts component and are the Theatre Consultants for the project.

The theatre will accommodate all kinds of community uses, such as musical theatre, recitals, bands, orchestras, popular music concerts, drama, dance, lectures, film and video, meetings, conferences, and trade shows. The stage will have a proscenium opening, and the auditorium will have an orchestra pit and a balcony. Novita is designing the auditorium with a "communities of seating" approach that will allow for a feeling of intimacy no matter the size of the audience.
