Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre

One of the largest and most vibrant Japanese cultural centres in the world, the JCCC offers traditional and contemporary cultural programs for its thousands of members and hundreds of thousands of annual visitors.

Novita designed the highly flexible Kobayashi Hall, a 6,500 sq ft space suitable for musical and dramatic performances, guest speakers, film screenings, banquets, conventions and conferences. Flexible staging, a large retractable screen, theatrical lighting, audio system, projector, and a professional control room support the many uses. The room's orientation may be either the length or the width. The retractable stadium seating, in combination with floor seating, can accommodate over 500 people.
