Chrysler Theatre

The Chrysler Theatre is part of a 230,000 square foot convention facility, the St. Clair Centre for the Arts (formerly the Clearly International Centre), originally built in 1960 and renovated in the early 1990’s at a total cost of $30 million.

The work on this 1,200 seat theatre included new lobbies and front of house facilities, re-construction of the stage opening, heightening the stage tower and all new theatre equipment.

The theatre is heavily used as a touring house which draws from the Detroit market immediately across the river as well as being a plenary facility for conventions.

Novita also designed presentation systems for various lecture theatres in the complex.
